Justice Ginsburg’s mother in law gave great advice.
October 7, 2016
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg mother in law gave here some great advice that I think can help all of us in any relationship. On her wedding day she said “In every good marriage–it helps to sometimes be a little deaf.”
She followed that advice “assiduously and not only at home through 56 years of marital partnership
non pareil”, but she wrote “I employed it as well in every workplace, including the Supreme Court. When thoughtless or unkind word is spoken, best the out. Reacting in anger or annoyance will not advance ones’s ability to persuade.
She has just released a book. My Own Words.
We all know that it is true–just another way to help with OUR STRESS MANAGEMENT.
